In the Launch stage, we focus on organization, strategy, and execution to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible.

The college application process isn’t just about filling out forms—it’s about telling your story with clarity and impact. A strong application highlights your strengths, growth, achievements, and potential, ensuring colleges see you as an appealing candidate and more than just a set of numbers.

 

1. Preparing for Applications

  • Becoming familiar with Common App, Coalition App, and other portals

  • Compiling necessary personal, academic, and extracurricular information

  • Completing FAFSA and (if required) CSS Profile for financial aid

2. Strategizing for a Stronger Application

  • Understanding different application portals and their requirements

  • Identifying similar or overlapping essays and supplemental questions to streamline writing

  • Evaluating application costs and fee waivers

  • Setting up an organized tracking system for deadlines and tasks

3. Gathering & Preparing Required Documents (Ongoing Process)

  • Setting up a dedicated email address for applications and communications

  • Creating necessary application portal accounts

  • Collecting and reviewing:

    • Self-reported grades (if required)

    • Unofficial and official transcripts

    • Standardized test scores (SAT, ACT, AP, IB, etc.)

    • Letters of recommendation (requesting early and following up)

  • Drafting and refining:

    • Personal statement and application essays

    • Responses to supplemental questions

4. Tracking & Submitting Applications (Ongoing Process)

  • Completing and reviewing all application forms

  • Submitting all required documents

  • Paying fees (or requesting fee waivers)

5. Preparing for Interviews & College Responses

  • Practicing for optional or required interviews

    • Tracking application decisions and financial aid offers
